I am a Certified Life-Cycle Celebrant through Natural Transitions Institute. Life-cycle celebrants are professionals who offer custom ceremonies for all phases of life, from baby blessings to celebrations of life to everything in between, and are trained in the art of storytelling and ritual. I am also ordained by the Universal Life Church to offer legal weddings.

 

Ceremony is a way to connect more deeply with the innate sacredness of being human. Particularly for those of us who are disconnected from cultural celebratory and memorial traditions, celebrants can provide ceremonies that honor the uniqueness of the participants while incorporating universal truths and symbols. 

 

I am most passionate about leading ceremonies for rites of passage that our culture often leaves on the fringes or that have not yet become mainstream, and aim to serve my multi-faceted community (and beyond) in the following ways:

• Coming-out ceremonies for queer and trans people

• Polyamorous commitment ceremonies

• Menarche ceremonies

• Menopause ceremonies

• Rituals to honor grief and trauma healing

• Pagan home/apartment/business blessings
